Demon Sword

A dynamic action game by Taito. It looks like an extended version of the well-known simple game Legend of Kage. In addition, the game has a good story, high-quality graphics and music. You have to make long jumps, hide from hordes of enemies in the trees, wield your sword (which gets stronger with each level) and throw shurikens. The controls are original, even the 'up' jump is an appropriate idea here. In the Japanese version (called Fudou Myououou Den), you play as a ninja. In the American version, due to regional differences, the hero has been replaced by an ordinary warrior, a sort of Conan the Barbarian. There are also differences in the story and levels between the two versions.
