Kid Kool and the Quest for the 7 Wonder Herbs

A long and challenging platform game by Vic Tokai. We play as a young man who has to find 7 magic herbs for the seriously ill king over 7 levels. The time for the whole game is limited: if you spend too much time, the king will die and you will get a bad ending. The character's weapons are jumps and a fluffy creature that he throws at the enemy. The controls are strange: the hero accelerates quickly and slows down slowly, making it easy to fall into the abyss. The on-screen scrolling is also puzzling. When our kid jumps a little under the ceiling, the screen moves up and then, with the same sharp jerk, down. And invisible bags of money in the air, which the hero suddenly bumps into and doesn't jump to the target.... This is one of those games: interesting in idea, but tight in execution.
