Renegade

Beat'em up by Technos, which started the Kunio / Nekketsu High series. The original takes place in a Japanese city, while the Western version, called Renegade, is set in the dirty streets of Brooklyn. You have to rescue your girlfriend from the dirty clutches of kidnappers. The game consists of five levels that take you through subways, docks, and inhospitable streets. There's a wide range of techniques including head, arm and leg kicks, throws overhand, and sprawl kicks. It's all in a fairly casual style, with elements of humor. Unofficial sequels Target: Renegade and Renegade III: The Final Chapter were subsequently released.
