Snake's Revenge

A direct sequel to the NES version of Metal Gear. Like its console predecessor, it was created without the involvement of series creator Hideo Kojima, and is therefore considered non-canonical. Despite this, Snake's Revenge is a good, exciting game that deserves attention. Once again, Solid Snake must infiltrate the enemy camp to neutralise another Metal Gear modification. As before, you must carefully sneak through the corridors of the base without getting caught by enemy soldiers. More weapons and items have been added to the hero's arsenal. Side view sections have been added, where the hero is less able to turn, but has learnt to jump. Bosses are more complicated and interesting than in the first game. An interesting idea: you can capture enemies in separate rooms and interrogate them using "truth gas".
