Earth Defend, The

Bootleg unlicensed games were also released on the Mega Drive console, and this one is one of them. The player controls a combat pilot who has to liberate five continents of the planet from the technologically advanced enemy army. The game is set in South America (Brazil), North America (Washington DC), Russia (Siberia), Asia (China) and Africa (Nigeria). Interestingly, a special attack is turning a flying ship into a ball of invulnerable fire that can be used to ram enemies (like the green bell in the Parodius series).
