Thunder Force II

Quite an interesting representative of the side-scrolling shooter genre. In the story, the Galactic Federation is opposed by the Ornish Empire. One of the Federation planets is conquered. Another global war is brewing... The levels here are very varied, and are divided into two different types. In the first case, you have to destroy several enemy bases, the action is seen from above and the direction of flight is not fixed - you can move in any direction. The second type is a more classic horizontal shoot 'em up. Here, our fighter moves strictly from left to right, destroying enemies and, in a similar vein to R-Type and Gradius, battling a boss at the end. You have a considerable arsenal of weapons at your disposal, as well as several additional upgrades. The game has a very good musical soundtrack.
