One of the best classic games on the Super Nintendo. It was released in the early days of Snes and immediately impressed with its technical level. Konami perfectly adjusted the game to the console's capabilities. The different levels of the game utilize vertical and horizontal scrolling, as well as the famous Mode 7 image mode. The effect of pseudo three-dimensionality was perfectly adjusted to the scrolling-shooter mode, turning it into one of the hits of its time. The plot of the game is set in the fictional solar system of Illis. It is invaded by the forces of an alien empire known as the Armada of Destruction and takes over the planets of the system. As a last hope, the D117B Axelay warship with our hero on board is sent to fight against the invading forces.
