ok first of all thanks to the people who replied.

metallic, i don't have that error on the quote. i quoted that because maxwellnet said that he was able to use raw dump from battle gear 4 dump on taito type x2. i want to be able to do the same. I have messaged maxwellnet and still waiting for a reply regarding this.

but if anyone else has an idea i would love to hear it.

i have the taito type x computer but it has a bad harddrive, so game won't boot up. tried a diffrent hdd (good one) from another battle gear cpu and it works just fine. so i am now looking for a way to clone the good hdd. but if there is a way to use this craked version on the ttx cpu please advice. the machine is complete with jvs board. i understand that the cracked game was patched so that software will not look for this board ? the original battle gear hdd is interchangeable with other ttx cpu hence there is no lock. But i read somewhere that the software was locked to the unique serial of the hdd ?

Finally, I have tested Battle Gear 4 raw dump on Type X2, which needn't any USB dongle key to run on the real hardware, I got an error, system error code : 907. In fact, the game boots, the Taito TypeX logo appears, Battle Gear 4 logo screen appears, then system error code : 907 on a blue screen. I think it may due to driving controls for the i/O I don't have.

hi how was this done ? i am trying to make a hdd for a battlegear4 that has gone bad. help please.

or is there a way to clone the original hdd ?
