Makai Hakkenden Shada
- • Genre: RPG
I don't know what the style of games like this is called, but there are plenty of Japanese games like this one. I can only guess about the plot, but it's usually standard. Someone is kidnapped, and you leave your village to find the villain and save your friend\brother\father\father\fiancée\fiancée\mother\wife\sister\mother-in-law (underline). (well, about the mother-in-law, I, let's say, lied :-) First you have to wander around the village, ask people where to go and who, in fact, to save. Maybe they'll even give you some weapons/medicines/spells/skills/power/money for the road (underline). (Let's say I made up about money, but who will give you money for nothing, you'll have to grind it out) Having acquired the goal and means, we go to achieve it. On the way we kill everyone we allow, talk to everyone we don't kill, and finally save the villain and destroy the mother-in-law. Ugh, destroy the bad guy and save the mother-in-law! Well, whatever you want to call it.

Makai Prince Dorabocchan
- • Genre: platformer
Charman! Charman! That's the first thing that comes to mind when you see this game. A childishly naive game, but not childishly made. The coffin that appears after the death of the main character, the vampire. A platformer, the main character, as I said, is a vampire. At first he is weak, he only knows how to work with a sprayer, but as the game progresses you can gain new abilities, much superior to the initial ones. Along the way, you need to spray enemies and collect tomatoes. (Well, not blood, right? Better tomato juice). If you are in danger, for example, from a crazy watermelon, you can hide in a hat (press "down"). Then the watermelon will take away only one tomato, not energy. All in all, a game from the "must have" category.

Maniac Puroresu - Asu e no Tatakai
- • Genre: simulation
Turn-based battles - such a characterization suits this game. It would seem to be a marasmus, but nevertheless, it is true. The Japanese have a non-standard approach to this case. In short, you choose a fighter, then the fight begins. At the bottom you see the degree of your slaughter: body 40\40, arm 40\40, etc. From the menu you choose the type of blow (all in Japanese, but do not pay much attention to it), and "OK". You see the blow in all its glory, then get hit in the face by the enemy. And so on until the end.

Metal Stoker
- • Genre: shooter
Military arcade shooter. You ride on a tank, view from above. Shoot moving and stationary targets. The tank has a fantastic rate of fire, so you don't have to worry about running out of ammo. From level to level you clear zones of invaders and restore power supply. By collecting prizes, you get weapon and armor upgrades. It's a pretty good game.

Military Madness
- • Genre: strategy
21st century. The Earth had become too small for ever-increasing human needs. The Moon promised huge rewards if developed. The most powerful countries on Earth laid claim to the lunar riches. There was no shortage of military action. And so, on April 6, 2089, the Axis of Evil makes a decisive attack on the Moon, and captures most of it. All dissenters were killed or imprisoned. The army has taken over all of the moon's factories, and the Axis of Evil has begun the S.A.M. project. - a super nuclear missile designed to destroy the Earth. Well, it all makes sense now. Your task is to free all the prisoners on the moon, and prevent the insidious plan to destroy the planet Earth. The game is a turn-based strategy. You have at your disposal infantry and heavy equipment. Each unit can be used 1 time per turn. In battles units gain experience, so do not attack inexperienced infantry on experienced tanks, this is my advice. Otherwise, the tactics and strategy of the game are clear. Conspiracy theory supporters may be picky about the shadows and the image of the Earth in the splash screen (it's really too big for the view from the moon). Japanese version: Nectaris

Momotarou Densetsu Gaiden - Dai 1 Shuu
- • Genre: RPG
A platform game I think is more suited for kids. Momo Taru is a little fat man with a big dagger. The game is in Japanese, and its plot is somewhat reminiscent of Little Red Riding Hood. Momo goes from grandfather to grandmother. If we remember the villain who appeared from the sea in the splash screen, we can assume that this villain and kidnapped the grandmother. Why - it's not clear. On the way Momo annihilates devils with his dagger, and gets coins for it. Personally, after this game I dreamed of these very devils, so do not play for a long time :)

Momotarou Densetsu II
- • Genre: RPG
Continuation of Momo Taru's adventures. This time in a slightly different style, inherent only to Japanese games. If anyone is familiar with the following NES games: Sansaara Naaga, Satomi Hakkenden - don't read any further. Momo sets out again in search of the villain. You are walking through a mountainous and wooded area, the view from above. Every now and then you meet some creatures, you will have to fight with them. But this is far from Mortal Kombat, so you say "I'll do you this way!", and he says: "I'll do you this way!". Nothing more. If you're lucky and you manage to scare him or even destroy him, you continue on your way. When you come across a village, ask the locals what you can, the answers will be in Japanese, so you'll have to use your intuition.

Momotarou Densetsu Turbo
- • Genre: RPG
The continuation (or beginning?) of the Momo Tarou Dentetsu II series, Momo Tarou Dentetsu Turbo. Here you get to choose which hero you want to play as. The selection is small, with only four people to choose from. When you get into a verbal altercation with an enemy, the screen shows not just that enemy on a black background, but there's even a landscape around him, and it even matches the area you're in. All in all, the most thoughtfully designed version of the entire series. The only drawback is that everything is in Japanese.

Monster Puroresu
- • Genre: simulation
I thought wrestling on PC and consoles has long been exhausted in the days of DOS, but no. Here is another version of this much-loved show. The originality lies in the fact that these fights are not in real time (paranoia, isn't it?), but turn-based. That is, you set some parameters for your attack, the opponent sets theirs, and then the "move" happens. All this is accompanied by the "coolest" animation and not bad sound. Only the Japanese could think of such an interpretation of wrestling. In general, "I fight because ... I fight," and there's no other reasoning.
