Russian-language Magazines

Great Dragon (until 1995 - Видео-Асс Dendy) is the oldest Russian publication devoted to video games and anime (Anime World section). The magazine differed from other domestic gaming press by focusing on the subject of video game consoles. The target audience was supposed to be children and teenagers of approximately 10-14 years old. Initially, it was essentially an information and advertising project of the Dendy company (Steepler), which distributed video consoles of the same name on the territory of the Russian Federation, but later gained full independence and covered the industry as a whole.

Видео-Асс Dendy - The previous name of the magazine was "Great Dragon". From issue 19, the magazine split into two parallel branches - Dendy - New Reality (issues 19 through 24 were published) and Great Dragon.
