Mario Clash

Mario Clash is a remake of the classic NES game Mario Bros. (not to be confused with Super Mario Bros.). The point is simple: you have to destroy all the walking bugs on the level by throwing turtle shells at them. The action gets more complicated from level to level.
What changed in this game after porting it to Virtual Boy? First of all, the save is gone... Yes, now scoring points (the main goal of the game) is not so interesting. Secondly, the sounds were completely corrupted. Finally, thirdly, the controls have deteriorated.
However, there is a positive moment - the graphics became three-dimensional. But I don't quite understand why it is necessary :)
