You don't always have time to run to the right place to hit the ball. It is worth noting that the game uses effects that are reminiscent of film. The camera often changes angle and distance. It is high up and covers the whole field, then it follows the players, then the ball. The graphics are well done, but without excessive detail. You can see the pitch, the players, the crowd, the advertising posters. As for the soundtrack, it is top-notch for the NES. There is a commentator's voice and background music. All in all, not a bad alternative to table tennis.

It's tennis at its best. The weakest of the weak. It's hard to practise. You can play against each other or two against the computer.

Car simulator. Has quite nice graphics. The player has to complete the track in a limited time. You will be hampered by cars that are too slow on the track and are constantly getting stuck under your feet. In the game there are bends, climbs and descents. The sound of the engine is reminiscent of a washing machine. The car has an automatic gearbox, so all the player has to do is constantly press the accelerator and a bit of the brake (in the corners).

Unlike the first game, Rad Racer 2 has nicer graphics and better sound. By the way, the car accelerated faster in the first game, and the gearshift is more realistic in Rad Racer 2. The environment has been drawn in greater detail, with more vivid colours. Music has been added. Otherwise, the gameplay is almost the same as in the first Rad Racer.

A rather rare type of gameplay, atypical for console scrolling shooters. The player controls an attack helicopter (top view) and has complete freedom to choose the direction of flight! The helicopter can take off and land on the carrier, accelerate forward or backward, turn at any angle, shoot and throw bombs. You have to fly both over water (where you have to shoot at boats and ships) and over land (where enemy cities have guns and tanks). The graphics are modest but tasteful, especially considering that the game was released in 1984. Probably the most interesting helicopter scrolling shooter on the NES.

In this game you need to have a good reaction. As you can guess from the name, you have to drive a motorbike (top view). You can lose your life in a single collision, and it is very easy to crash here. There are plenty of obstacles on the road, not to mention the side of the road and rival motorbikes, which sometimes try to hit you from behind. The graphics are weak for a 90 year old game. The music is fun, but gets boring quickly.

A game based on the Stallone film. John Rambo is thrown into Vietnam, where he fights successfully. At first, the only weapons you have to fight enemies with are knives - for close combat and throwing knives. For all its originality, the game is a little clumsy and has a humorous (strange) cartoon style that may not appeal to everyone.

You control giant monkeys and reptiles. Infantrymen (who shoot and throw grenades), helicopters and other vehicles will try to destroy you. You have to hold out until all the houses in the neighbourhood are blown up. The graphics are average, but considering the age of the game, quite bearable.
