You can gain extra lives by freeing prisoners. There is a powerful shared magic. Basic moves: B+C - special move, B+C+forward - forward swing, B+back - block, B+down - slash, C then B+down - special jump attack. Amazon and Panther have a double jump. Super attacks: Swordsman and Barbarian - describe a counter-clockwise cross (right-up-left-down-right) and B+C; Amazon and Panther - right-left-right and B+C.
