A military and economic strategy game, one of the best on the NES. Nice sound and graphics. Here you will have to show all your skills in managing the state. Conquer enemy states, unite with the strong and attack the weak, set up food production for your soldiers, hire different creatures such as dragons and orcs. You can wreak havoc on your neighbours by sending a thief or a plague. Computer opponents will not sit idly by and will attack. You can also play with two players.

From the creators of GEMFIRE. This game differs from it in that the controls are not very comfortable, but the diplomacy and social structure are better thought out. For example, forced labour for the population; the police appear (!); if the enemy is washed away, you can catch up with him and finish him off; you can issue ultimatums to your neighbours (if you don't send gold, our horde will kill you); you can find out the composition of the enemy's army before the battle. You can also play a campaign to conquer Mongolia or the world. So go ahead, choose your future Genghis Khan from the list.

In the open world, we travel around the map; in platforming levels, we fight monsters and defeat bosses; and in three-dimensional labyrinths reminiscent of Might & Magic and Doom, we try to find a way to the next main enemy. RPG elements include weapon upgrades and a huge inventory. The main difficulty lies in the puzzles, some of which require a lot of thinking. An unremarkable game, full of variety.

A game based on the film Ghostbusters. Very controversial game. Extremely poor graphics, even by NES standards, lack of action, over-complicated gameplay and various minor flaws make the interest in this product doubtful. Most of the time you're not chasing ghosts, you're driving around the city. Also, without the manual, it's hard to understand what to do and how to get to the main boss. An ambiguous gameplay experiment, more like a last generation 'hello' than an NES game.

The second instalment in the Ghostbusters series was published by the same company that made the first game. In general, many of the shortcomings of the first game have seeped into this one. But there are enough positive moments. The action has become much more, now you explore the levels and play for each hunter separately. Driving the car has become a side-view race and is more exciting. You can even drive the Statue of Liberty, just like in the film. But the relentless monotony of the gameplay, sadly familiar from the first game, reigns here too. The controls also complicate our lives: ghost traps have to be set in the most inconvenient way - with the 'start' button. And the last level has to be completed four times in a row. It is up to you to decide whether such a game is worth your while.

The ancestor of one of Capcom's most famous series. The demons of hell are asleep, trying to figure out how to grab another earthly girl and take her for themselves. But this time they have succeeded in kidnapping the girlfriend of the brave knight Arthur. And he is happy to try: he puts on his warrior's armour over his trousers and hurries off to destroy all the impure people. However, both Arthur and the player will have to work hard. The difficulty is unrealistically high and as treacherous as our demonic enemies. There is not a single safe place - you can die at any moment, monsters appear almost everywhere. And the hero dies with only two hits. The main "surprise" awaits you after killing the final boss... Despite all this, the game is loved by gamers all over the world.

You play as a kid who has to fight monsters in school (I wonder what he does there at night), using a ruler as a weapon. The monsters have to be hunted down by class, and there are a lot of classes. Each floor is crawling with monsters. You can hide in cubicles (it's strange that there's nothing in the cubicles, it must be the holidays). The music only changes when you enter the classrooms. There are more weapons and defences, but you still have to find them.

Great football. You have to fight for the Super Bowl. You can choose from almost all European countries. The controls are not very comfortable, making the game difficult for a beginner, but the graphics are cool (pseudo-three-dimensional). And the animations are good too: when you score a goal, your player runs with his hands in the air. Or if you stumble, you are shown writhing on the grass. You can play a separate match against the computer or a friend.

A very colourful game with good animation and sound quality. You can choose who you want to play against in Player vs. Computer mode, or play a match between you and a friend. The main mode, however, is the Super Bowl. You can pick a team of your choice and adjust the position of the players on the field. The choice of teams is not great, of course, but the game itself is a great time.
