Instead of pumping your character, you are given various tasks: go somewhere, bring something back. Some people may be disappointed by this. Although the game is quite interesting and very difficult. You will die many times: from worms, from pits, from orcs... So if you don't like complexity, if you don't want to think about every step you take, don't bother with this game. The rest of you are welcome.

A very unusual platform game with an interesting idea. We play as an "emergency dummy" who is placed in the cab instead of the driver when testing the transport. It is very easy to gain a lot of speed while driving, but be careful - at high speeds your dummy can literally lose its head. And without a head, it will be very difficult to control the character - because he cannot see where he is going. But don't worry - there are lots of new heads scattered around the level. Add a new one to yourself - and go on with your business. You'll also play as the main character's brother, who has all the right legs - these levels are a classic platformer with shooting. The levels are very varied - but all have a technology theme. Definitely worth playing.

The adventures of one of the world's favourite and most famous film characters - Indiana Jones. The game greets us with familiar music. The title image and video also look good. After a short clip and the choice of an item in the dialogue, we are suddenly thrown into an unexpected task - to piece together a sketch of a vase. This is necessary to pass the final challenge. But don't think that's all we'll be doing. There will be plenty of adventures familiar from the film: fighting a gang of enemies on a ship, exploring a dark Austrian mansion, riding a motorbike, riding a tank, searching for the Holy Grail. To be honest, our Indiana Jones is too clumsy and often misses enemies with his blows. The game's main advantage is its closeness to the original film.

Games with the same name, but from different publishers. Ubisoft's project is not inferior to its rival, and in some respects it even surpasses it. The graphics are more colourful, the hero is bigger, there are no complicated puzzles, and the game is more dynamic and fun. However, the health of enemies in the game is exaggerated. The game is dedicated to all fans of Indiana Jones, and not to fans. The game is for one person only.

Another Indiana Jones game. This time it is dedicated to a different film. The game has absolutely no effect. Neither positive emotions nor negative ones: it seems to stand on its own feet, but at the same time there is no impetus that makes you "swallow" level after level. Graphics and sound do not stand out. Everything is banal: collect bonuses, fight enemies, run, jump. If you want an adventure game, this will do, but if you want something "tasty", look elsewhere. Single-player only.

It would be a standard good versus evil JRPG like Dragon Quest, except for one "but" - there are no random battles! Enemies are immediately visible on the map and there is a chance to avoid fighting them. For 1987, this was a real breakthrough! The game also features a large, seamless world divided into separate screens, a la the first The Legend of Zelda. The plot goes something like this: "Everything is bad, everything is not as it should be", so you have to restore the balance of elements in the world, or something like that. In general, the usual saving the world, but there will also be unexpected plot twists. I also notice a lot of humour in the side NPCs.

Good combat helicopter simulator with a view from the cockpit. For NES, the graphics are quite good, the sound, sorry, a bit pumped up, and the story is bad, but in other words and so will do.

A two-dimensional side-scrolling shooter. You play as a boy named Carlson, who flies by pressing a button at the expense of his propeller. It all looks very entertaining.

There are not many action games on the NES where you have to drive a tank. This makes it all the more pleasing to see a quality Iron Tank game. Just like in Guerilla Wars and Jackal, we move through the levels from a top view, shooting at enemy soldiers and vehicles. The pause menu is amazing, with lots of items and weapons that can be changed at any time during the game. Your tank is perfectly controlled, it is not bulky. What is also nice is that the level changes are smooth, without dimming the screen, without allowing the player to relax and without stopping the action. The difficulty level is reasonable, but it doesn't go too far. A great product from SNK.

An adventure game, the sequel to the first part of Rare's Wizards and Warriors. The exciting atmosphere of fairy tales and the Middle Ages is back. In this part, our glorious knight Kouros must find four elemental symbols - fire, water, air and earth. Together, they can form the legendary Iron Sword, which can be used to punish the evil sorcerer Malkil. The game is much more difficult than the first part.

Horse Racing. One of the options where you can take part in the races, not just bet on the mares and their jockeys and wait for the results.

A strategy game with a historical theme. Two different scenarios can be played at relatively close intervals. The game is in Japanese.

Another representative of the action (arcade) genre. The plot is traditional: once again we save the old Earth from restless aliens. But the main thing is that the game is well done: good graphics and sound, a wide range of weapons, a large number of different monsters, nice animation of movements (especially tumbling in the air and the defeat of the main character). The game deserves positive marks and is quite capable of brightening up a monotonous evening.

Mixed genre game. Designed primarily for Japanese girls aged 12-15. If you are not, this game is not for you.

Off-road style jeep racing on the NES. The game could have been very popular, it was worth putting some work and care into it. But unfortunately, the developers either didn't have enough work or had a problem with care. The game turned out to be (no offence intended) terrible. The beginning is quite good: the choice of country, the possibility of earning money, different types of races, but when we get to the arena, everything changes: the car is too small, the graphics are inexplicable, the speed is too high, the tracks are primitive, the disappointment comes quickly. Even the possibility of playing with two people doesn't help.
