At the end of each level there is a boss waiting for you, and after defeating him you will get his weapon, which will help you to continue your task more efficiently. The game is a must, not only because of its good graphics and sound, but also because it is quite interesting, especially the boss battles and, of course, the bosses themselves.

A very successful sequel to the first game, which made the series popular. Here Megaman will have to fight eight bosses. He also gets improved gadgets for overcoming obstacles, and for the first time the player is shown the fortress of the main villain, Dr Wiley. There are passwords and the ability to replenish energy during battle, which makes it less difficult than the first game. The graphics have improved a little since the original, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the series. The gameplay, if we don't take into account the new weapons, remains the same as in the previous instalments.

The third part, which takes a big step forward in terms of variety and innovation. Everything that was good about the previous game has been improved and added to (though not without bugs and bad optimisations). Megaman has learnt how to do a roll-up and has acquired an assistant - a robot dog called Rush, who can transform into a feather, a flying machine and a bathyscaphe. There are many more adventures to be had before you enter Wiley's Fortress, and the plot itself is enough to keep you interested. In terms of music, the game is as good as the second part, and even better.

In the fourth part, the developers have tried to retain everything that made the third part great, while spicing it up with a pinch of innovation. Our hero can now accumulate energy, allowing him to fire more powerful shots from his cannon. Megaman also has a new sidekick. The new full-screen pause menu has become a staple of the series. And many of the rough edges of the previous games have been ironed out. The game's plot is uncomplicated but entertaining. The bosses - robot masters - are some of the most interesting and bizarre in the series. The difficulty has increased slightly, but is still nowhere near the level of the first game.

The continuation of the series about the heroic robot. This late entry in the series is already squeezing the juices out of the console - in terms of graphics, effects and quality, the game is above all praiseworthy! Many levels will surprise you with intricate innovations, although the general gameplay is traditional - as before, we protect the world from the evil Dr Wiley by fighting robots created by him. In the hero's arsenal you will find a Black Cloak-like suction arrow. On each of the eight levels there is a 'letter' from the game's name, and if you collect them all you will get a surprise. All in all, we have a great sequel to the famous series, with perfect controls and entertaining gameplay.

The sixth and final instalment in the series on the NES sums up Megaman's 8-bit adventures and serves as a prelude to the next, Super Nintendo instalment (even after the final credits, there's a note saying "Continuation follows"). The player is basically in for the same as in the previous five games. But there are enough novelties. The levels are full of secret passages, and Megaman himself can now link up with his assistant Rush, giving him power or the ability to fly. Some bosses can be fought twice to gain additional abilities. All in all, a good sequel to a great series.

You, a young boy scout, are wandering through the maze in search of chests containing parts of the picture. Your task is to collect them all and then find your way out of the maze. But not everything is as easy as it seems - time is limited. The view on the screen is like in the famous Doom (from the eyes). Use the map (Start button) to get some idea of where you are. If you find the secret location of the maze, you can win something from the local junk dealer. I particularly like the idea of playing with a dice, which you have to roll into a certain square of the cell field. Comparatively good graphics.

Baseball. One of those options that won't really interest even the most ardent fans of this American afterthought. Alas!

Between levels there are cutscenes showing the girl's behaviour. The game is full of puzzles and secrets. But it is important to remember that this is a pirate game. For one player.
