NHK Gakuen Space School was a series of distance learning games for the Famicom developed jointly by NHK Gakuen, Konami, and Tokyo Shoseki. There are also weather conditions in the game, so you can race in the rain.

This game is a mixture of a quest and a fighting game. A wonderful atmosphere of investigation and mystery, where you will have to immerse yourself in the turbulent activities of a detective. When encountering enemies, the game switches to combat mode, giving you the opportunity to relax your brain for a while and show your opponent all the charms of close combat. The hero does good deeds, but no one is safe from ridiculous mistakes. You can save a cat from an angry dog, for example, and then read about your exploits in the newspaper. Or you can do some unforgivable things that will earn you the title of most untalented hero, all in that spirit. Graphically, the game is very good, but the music sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. Anyway, this is one of the few quest games on the NES. It is very well done - you can solve many interesting puzzles.

Ninja Crusaders (as the title translates) fight against invading machines in a post-apocalyptic world. The game is unique in that your ninja can transform into different animals. It all depends on the weapon you have at the moment: if you have a shuriken, you become a tiger; if you have a chain, you become a scorpion; if you have a stick, you become a bird; and if you have a sword, you become an unkillable (but time-limited) dragon. The duration of the levels is short, but you are likely to spend a lot of time in them. The thing is that the ninja dies with the first blow. That's why it's not an easy game.

Our protagonist is a ninja called Ryu Hayabusa. Having decided to find out the circumstances of his father's disappearance, he travels to America. Immediately, Ryu is attacked by unknown assailants, a mysterious girl shoots at him with a stun gun, a strange statuette appears in the hero's hands - a whole series of incredible events that the young ninja will have to go through. Young Hayabusa's main weapon is a sword. You can also obtain additional weapons (Shuriken, Firestream, Flame Ring Shield, etc.) from items found throughout the levels, which will come in handy against enemies and bosses. Ryu is an unrivalled ninja: he is a master swordsman, clings to walls and jumps very cleverly. The game is dynamic, the ninja literally beats enemies "on the fly". Although the difficulty is very high (you will often fall into the abyss), the exciting story and excellent gameplay will keep the player until the end of the game.

A sequel to the first part of Ninja Gaiden. A year later, a new power-obsessed enemy appears. Ryu Hayabusa must defeat him and save his beloved from danger. Our ninja once again uses his indispensable sword as a weapon, which he wields to perfection. The game is as dynamic, atmospheric and complex as its predecessor, and even better in terms of graphics. There are even more special opportunities. For example, you can run with one or two disembodied ninjas who will help you fight your enemies. The hero not only clings to walls, but can also climb them. The sequel features new, high-quality levels. In addition to aggressive enemies, you will be confronted with weather conditions (on some stages) that will noticeably hinder you.

The Ninja Gaiden sequel introduces an exciting new storyline. An unknown person claiming to be Ryu Hayabusa kills CIA agent Irene. A shocked Ryu sets out to find the impostor. The game has improved in almost every way. The main character looks even more alive thanks to good animation and voice acting. The graphics have been reworked. Dynamic effects really brighten up the game. The gameplay is more varied - Ryu can now strengthen his sword and special weapons have been added. The original Japanese version is easier and more complete than the American one (password system + eternal continues). A worthy conclusion to the cult trilogy.

Another ninja game. Unlike similar games, it does not deserve special attention. However, if you want to kill some time, you can play it. .

A platform game in which the main character is a ninja. Very nice graphics on the levels, with a predominance of pastel colours, caressing the eye, tones. Our hero kills enemies in an unusual way - jumps on them and spits them with a mace. From square blocks you can knock out prizes. The game is interesting, but it is a pity that it is short.

A simple game from the early days of the Famicom, with enticing Japanese music. The goal is to kill an army of enemy demons, servants of the evil pirate, and rescue the kidnapped princess. To reach the enemies, you must break through ceilings and jump to higher floors. If you're lucky, the enemy may fall down and you can pick him up. Powerful enemies are quite clever and it is difficult to defeat them head on, so to fight them successfully you will need to use cunning, such as jumping on their heads to stun them. You will also collect the souls of the enemies you kill. Occasionally, broken bricks will be replaced with various power-ups that will make the mission easier to complete. If you're lucky, you can ride a giant frog and eat everyone - pretty impressive!

Another decent ninja game. The game starts with a map where your path is limited by the parking lots of the enemies. You choose one of them and proceed. Different weapons, not bad music. Gegege no Kitarou - Youkai Dai Makyou.

A simple action game that was once common in multiplayer games. A tiny ninja climbs higher and higher up a mountain, with enemies trying to stop him. Later the enemies and levels get stronger and you have to kill them all at once.

Not a bad game about a little lump with arms and legs who thinks he is a ninja. You start on an island inhabited by ninjas like you, only black. Your weapons are always standard stars, as are your enemies.

A rare collector's game released in a very limited edition. Players compete against each other in classic Nintendo games such as Super Mario, Rad Racer and Tetris for a certain number of points. The game was first announced in the not-so-famous film The Wizard and described in detail in Nintendo Power. Additional gold cartridges were also released in quantities of several dozen, which were sold at a "random" price in various parts of America and are now almost the rarest of collectors' items. It is also important to note that the game does not hang, as some people thought, but starts when you press start on the second controller.
