Lots of items to interact with and 12 actions to choose from. At the beginning of the game you can choose two companions for the main character. The ending of the game changes depending on their abilities. What else is needed for happiness! As there are a lot of endings in the game, you should play it over and over again to see them all. In the Japanese version of the game, the characters look different.

Game of all times and nations. It is almost as well known as Tanchiki, and many NES consoles came with a cartridge containing this game. The plot is simple: you play for the Mario brothers and have to clear the level of all kinds of creatures (crabs, turtles, flies, etc.). You can get rid of the enemy by stunning it by hitting it from below (some a few times) and then pushing it off the platform. It's fun and not at all stressful. Especially interesting to play with two people. A good time is guaranteed.

A popular hero from Capcom games. For those who don't know, Mega Man is a robot who specialises in ridding the world of pest robots. Using his wrist cannon, you must traverse several levels filled with these very pests. At the end of each level there is a boss waiting for you, and after defeating him you will get his weapon, which will help you to continue your task more efficiently. The game is a must, not only because of its good graphics and sound, but also because it is quite interesting, especially the boss battles and, of course, the bosses themselves.

A very successful sequel to the first game, which made the series popular. Here Megaman will have to fight eight bosses. He also gets improved gadgets for overcoming obstacles, and for the first time the player is shown the fortress of the main villain, Dr Wiley. There are passwords and the ability to replenish energy during battle, which makes it less difficult than the first game. The graphics have improved a little since the original, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the series. The gameplay, if we don't take into account the new weapons, remains the same as in the previous instalments.

The third part, which takes a big step forward in terms of variety and innovation. Everything that was good about the previous game has been improved and added to (though not without bugs and bad optimisations). Megaman has learnt how to do a roll-up and has acquired an assistant - a robot dog called Rush, who can transform into a feather, a flying machine and a bathyscaphe. There are many more adventures to be had before you enter Wiley's Fortress, and the plot itself is enough to keep you interested. In terms of music, the game is as good as the second part, and even better.

In the fourth part, the developers have tried to retain everything that made the third part great, while spicing it up with a pinch of innovation. Our hero can now accumulate energy, allowing him to fire more powerful shots from his cannon. Megaman also has a new sidekick. The new full-screen pause menu has become a staple of the series. And many of the rough edges of the previous games have been ironed out. The game's plot is uncomplicated but entertaining. The bosses - robot masters - are some of the most interesting and bizarre in the series. The difficulty has increased slightly, but is still nowhere near the level of the first game.

The continuation of the series about the heroic robot. This late entry in the series is already squeezing the juices out of the console - in terms of graphics, effects and quality, the game is above all praiseworthy! Many levels will surprise you with intricate innovations, although the general gameplay is traditional - as before, we protect the world from the evil Dr Wiley by fighting robots created by him. In the hero's arsenal you will find a Black Cloak-like suction arrow. On each of the eight levels there is a 'letter' from the game's name, and if you collect them all you will get a surprise. All in all, we have a great sequel to the famous series, with perfect controls and entertaining gameplay.

The sixth and final instalment in the series on the NES sums up Megaman's 8-bit adventures and serves as a prelude to the next, Super Nintendo instalment (even after the final credits, there's a note saying "Continuation follows"). The player is basically in for the same as in the previous five games. But there are enough novelties. The levels are full of secret passages, and Megaman himself can now link up with his assistant Rush, giving him power or the ability to fly. Some bosses can be fought twice to gain additional abilities. All in all, a good sequel to a great series.

A port (from the MSX2 computer) of Metal Gear, the game that started the famous series. The protagonist's mission is to infiltrate the enemy's fortress and destroy a secret weapon called, of course, Metal Gear. In the tradition of the series, it is not so much a matter of fighting the enemies as of sneaking past them without raising any alarms. You will also need to find important items and talk to other characters. There are a number of changes from the original. Some things from the MSX2 version are not in the game, but some new things are added - jungle and some confusing mazes. Also, unlike the original, there is a password system. All the main components - graphics, sound and gameplay - are top notch. Snake's Revenge continued on the NES.

It's not a bad game. In it, we have to put on the heavy suit of a warrior of the future. The gameplay is original. It is based on a constant change of gravity. When passing levels and bosses, you have to change the gravity to the floor or the ceiling. This creates a variety of interesting and challenging situations. What you notice immediately: the game has good graphics, especially the animation of the main character's death. A little boring monotony, but faster than it gets boring, you will manage to complete the game. Conclusion: play it.

One of the pioneers of the console action-adventure genre. The game throws you into a space base and that's it - you're on your own, just like in real life. There are no texts, no hints, nothing - you have to explore the space pirates' abode at your own risk. By exploring the pirate base, the heroine will be able to gather reinforcements and gain access to previously inaccessible areas. Rockets found along the way can be used to open red doors and fight bosses. The graphics are not bad, considering that the game was made in 1986. There are some interesting bosses, such as Ridley the pterodactyl. The music creates the right atmosphere. A fascinating and peculiar game. The site presents and extensive modification on this part, called Metroid - Rogue Dawn. In fact, it is a separate part of the series (prehistory), with its own story, level structure, graphical and musical improvements.

The peaceful hustle and bustle of the day is interrupted by a phone call. "Your daughter has been kidnapped" - with these words, the bandits' fate is sealed. Mike Haggar rips off his shirt in anger. His duties as city manager can wait. Street fighter Cody is a well-balanced character. Ninja Guy is very fast. The Haggar Wrestler's slowness is more than made up for by his incredible strength. He can grab a gaping opponent by jumping on top of them, deliver a "kick" and knock their head to the ground. But Cody or Guy can also stun an enemy with a jump attack (by adding a "down" button to it). Leveling up boosts and increases health. Leveling up will also heal you completely. The circle attack A+B will save you in a critical situation, but will drain your energy. Special moves are performed with a punch+forward and get better as you level up. Haggar gets a rush forward, Cody gets a wave and Gaius gets a spin kick. Lives can be earned in prize games. The animation and music is great. Read the dialogue: sometimes the leader can be weakened before the fight, and some even give you healing. Interesting endings with subtle humour will encourage you to play more than once.

One of the most addictive and challenging games on the NES. The story puts you in control of three characters. Your mission is to save a certain doctor and his secretary. Thoughtful story, good graphics and soundtrack. What is the recipe for a hit game? Lots of puzzles and obstacles along the way. You will have to use your grey cells to get through them. A definite hit.

The adventures of a three-eyed boy, a manga and anime character. The villain has kidnapped the hero's girlfriend. The hero's main weapon is his third eye, which he uses to fire bullets at enemies. If you hold down the attack button, the hero will summon a magic spear that will help you climb higher. Jump on the spear before it flies away and it will freeze in mid-air. Shoot the falling coin several times to increase its value. In the shop you can buy new weapons (switch in pause mode), a bird (saves you from falling) and a life. Five levels will fly by for you in this exciting game.

Logic game. We control a moai - a statue from Easter Island. In each level, you have to save the other statues and manage to get out of the door within the allotted time. Our statue jumps so badly, but it can smash blocks of stone with its forehead and blow them up with bombs. The tasks get more complicated with each round, so you'll never get bored.

The characters are monsters, just like real ones, but tiny. They can fit in your pocket and still have room to spare. The characters are called Monster and Vampire, and they fight against the insidious Sorcerer and his minions. The main idea - to show the world through the eyes of small creatures - the creators have done perfectly. For example, the first levels, when the monsters move around the huge house, jumping on cushions, tape recorders, climbing on a stool, as if on a mountain, running with great speed down the railing... The levels are colourful. All in all, a very good game.

In front of us is an adventure game. We play as a boy called Ricky Slater. The treacherous Count Crimson has kidnapped and threatened the villagers, forcing the hero's father to use the powerful Moon Crystal for evil deeds. Without hesitation, Ricky sets out to rescue his relatives. Soon, the mysterious Rosina appears, somehow connected to Crimson, but how? The interesting plot is presented in the form of beautiful scenes. The hero moves smoothly through the levels, the Prince of Persia clings to the ledges, powerfully hits the enemies with his sword. In the stages you can find improvements: sword strengthening, double jump and health boost.

A colourful game about a toy called Yumetaro. An evil magician from another world has stolen a girl - your mistress - and taken her to his place, and you have to rescue her. Very nice, varied levels and quality music (in the Japanese version of the game). Along the way you will meet some tough enemies - the girl's other toys, enchanted by the wizard. Yumetaro has an interesting way of attacking - he creates a glowing star above his head and throws it at enemies. The star bounces off the floor and walls, and before it stops, you can jump on it and jump higher. To get the real ending, you need to find a treasure on each level. The treasures are well hidden, so you'll have to work hard. A cute and touching game.

Created in the 90s but only released in 2017, this is a port of the third instalment in the adventures of the magical testicle (Dizzy III - Fantasy World Dizzy, not to be confused with Fantastic Dizzy).
