A game about firemen. We control two firemen who throw a third (our main character) on a trampoline, catch him and save him from falling. Our hero rescues people (and animals) from burning rooms and puts out fires in burning windows. From time to time, he also knocks various prizes out of the windows, which we also have to pick up carefully without missing the hero. Everything is like in the game "Arkanoid". You can use the prizes to: increase the length of the trampoline, make the character temporarily invulnerable or more resistant to fire, give him a partner, and also end our firefight early. You can also go inside the building! The game is not infinite - it has 32 levels. A fun game with a rewarding message.

A modified Tetris from the 90s. Actually, it's a cross between Tetris and Lines. Our task is to collect coloured blocks so that some of the images shrink. It's not difficult, but try doing it at high speed. Very different sensations, believe me. Conclusion: like any other Tetris, this game is very exciting, especially with friends. You can play it with two people.

The game tells the story of a chef, from whom a certain harmful moustached type took away the restaurant, because of which you have to reclaim your home from the furious vegetables, fruits and other food products. In the Japanese version we control the cook, in the American version we have a grandfather chef. The culinary theme is carefully reflected in the game - during the passage you'll see so many edible things that you may drool. It's nice that the game is so fun to play. Graphics and animation are top-notch, with bright pink colours prevailing. Music is also well chosen, soulful and melodic. In the armoury of our chef appears spoon-dubinka, plate-throwers and fork-crushing. Let's go - help the chef in his hard work!

The story tells of four orphans chosen by the Crystals to restore the balance between light and darkness. The game is a revised and polished version of the first part. Almost all parameters have been improved. We are particularly pleased that the heroes' blows no longer go into the void and automatically switch from a dead monster to a still-living one. The main feature of FF3 is the system of "professions". At any point in the game, any of the heroes can change their class - a warrior can become a black mage, and a bard can become a viking. At the start there is only one class available, but after defeating the first boss you will have access to five more. The total number of classes is 22. One of the best JRPGs for the NES.

The Banana Prince must return the giant banana - the symbol of the kingdom. His enemies are various vegetables. The game has pleasant graphics and music, as well as a humorous plot. The hero can instantly grow a palm tree (down+click), which allows him to jump higher. A somersault from such a palm counts as an attack. He can also ride on his belly (down+jump) and scare away a flying elder (hold up, then press down). The rings you collect will heal the Prince and buy new weapons. For the best ending, you have to recover 4 stolen relics and take part in island quizzes, so we recommend the English version. Also known as Sonic Prince.

Traces of nuclear missiles have been found on the islands and many of the best scientists have been kidnapped. Only James Bond Jr. can save the day. The game offers a lot of variety: you can jump, shoot, solve puzzles, use weapons and items you find (select+down). The aqualung will help you get to the underwater parts of the levels. If you want to make a small jump, press the button lightly. Watch out for nuclear charges (white rocket symbol), they will come in handy in levels 3 and 4, as well as in the fight with the main villain. The music is good, with a style reminiscent of Robocop 3. One of the most progressive games on the NES.

Spider-Man game on the NES. The superhero runs through streets, basements and warehouses, fighting the famous Sinister Six led by Dr. Octopus. The hero can jump, punch, kick, climb certain walls, and use spider webs to swing. The player can also duck down and perform a jump kick. There are six levels in the game, with a member of the Sinister Six acting as a boss at the end of each. Levels tend to have a fairly straightforward structure, although sometimes you have to search for a required item, such as a key or detonator. Each level begins with an illustration of Spider-Man fighting a supervillain, which the player will have to fight as a boss.

Nintendo's all-time favourite duck hunting game. On the console it requires a light gun. So if you play on a PC, choose an emulator that supports this feature. The rules are not even worth explaining - you wait for the duck to fly out, aim and shoot. The hound will taunt you if you miss. The game has three modes: shooting ducks one by one, shooting ducks two by two and skeet shooting.

The sequel to the first RC Pro-Am with more detailed graphics. There are trees, rivers and jumps. Jumps make the car bounce. You can upgrade your car in the shop by replacing parts with newer ones. There is a four player game mode on one screen.

Classic Nintendo tennis. So classic, there's even Mario. There's detailed scoring. It's a bird's eye view. Nowadays these games look modest. But it's still fun to play, especially with two people.

The sequel to the excellent side-scrolling shooter. Now you can choose your own power level, i.e. your own weapons, at the beginning of the game. Only the ship itself remains the same, but the environment and music have changed for the better. Enemies are even more varied. Quite powerful special effects for the NES have appeared. You can now choose your weapons and ship before you start the game. Some bosses, such as a man's head with his brains out, are impressive. The game is a real sign of quality from Konami. Beware: it is quite challenging.

Star assemblies 999999999 in 1 "Moon Billiards". The object of the game is to sink all the balls in the pockets. There is our ball on the table, not our balls (they must be hit) and pockets. We choose the path of the shot, the power and the shot. When we move to another level, the table "mutates" (it is difficult to explain the changes it undergoes in any other way). You can choose three routes in any order on the world map and hurry to save the ungrateful master from his troubles. The dog can be strengthened by collecting bones. Try to have 3-4 bones before the battle with the boss, so that you can fully restore your health during the battle with him. Bombs are the best weapon, although barking sometimes helps. Wings allow you to soar by pressing the jump key while flying. As you play, you can review your geography: it is easy to recognise the states and parts of the world we are going to from the scenery on the level.

Not a bad shooting game. You play as a special unit - one of the best. You can create a team of your choice. Some terrorist organisation - Cobra - is doing what terrorists should do; your task is to reach the Cobra headquarters, overcoming soldiers and bosses. Your weapons will certainly help, and their power can be increased by collecting something called microchips.

Playing as four characters, we must restore the balance of the four elements - earth, air, fire and water - that have been upset by the dark forces. By travelling from town to town, fighting hordes of monsters and completing various quests, the heroes will get closer and closer to unravelling the chaos of the nameless world... There are six classes to choose from - from the Fighter, who specialises in brute strength, to the fragile White Mage (each of which can be upgraded). The famous series began with this game. The game looks tolerable even on 8-bit, and even better on GBA and other systems.

A game based on the famous Choujin Sentai Jetman series in Japan. Earth is attacked by an evil organisation from another dimension known as Vyram, which begins to spread fear, panic and terror in Japan, both through its soldiers and monsters created from everyday objects. However, 5 super-powered heroes - Jetmans, armed with swords and blasters and able to fly - stand in the way of the villains. At the end of each level there is a monster boss, which the Jetmans fight with the help of a giant robot - the Great Ikarus. There are only 6 non-long levels in the game, 5 of which are selectable.

Beat'em up, where Billy fights the enemy with his fists and picked up weapons. Racing on the roads, where, driving a jeep, you need to chase the cars of villains. Finally, shoot'em up with an eye view, where you can use a light gun at will. The graphics are excellent, the soundtrack is also top notch. The American version of the game is much harder than the Japanese version.
