The interesting plot is presented in the form of beautiful scenes. The hero moves smoothly through the levels, the Prince of Persia clings to the ledges, powerfully hits the enemies with his sword. In the stages you can find improvements: sword strengthening, double jump and health boost.

An alien race has sent a huge world to Earth, filled with dangerous life forms. Our heroine - the cyborg girl Miria - must save the planet. The game starts as a standard scrolling shooter. We fly to the space base, destroy a simple boss. Suddenly the action moves inside the base, which consists of many corridors. You have to unlock 10 rooms - basements - before the computer switches on the self-destruct. As you progress, new locations open up. The heroine can turn into a ship - then the flight stages begin again. All weapons can be upgraded and ammunition for them can be bought with chips. We have an exciting game ahead of us that is a mixture of adventure and scrolling shooter.

The invincible team is at it again. The sinister Cobra organisation has found a mystical artefact. They used it to raise Atlantis from the ground and set up a military base there. It is necessary to reach this artefact by shooting everyone right and left. Unlike the first part, this one is non-linear - you can choose your own route. You start out with a single character, but as you progress through levels you can rescue other soldiers and play as them (and get new weapons, too). Each character has its own characteristics: one can swim, one can crawl; strengths and weaknesses: one can jump higher, another has more health. Fighters and weapons can be upgraded. You can also use the walkie-talkies you find to summon one of the three helpers we rescue in the levels. Assistants can resurrect dead team members and replenish health and ammo.

Despite the familiar name, this is not a tournament, but a combat platformer with a very interesting idea. The aim of each stage is to destroy the designated target and gain the energy needed to open a portal to the next level. The target can be either one powerful enemy or many weak ones. The enemies are inhabitants of different planets: dangerous monsters, mutants, cyborgs. When fighting them, the hero shoots energy charges that can be pumped. He can also climb walls, poles and perform acrobatic backflips. Time is limited, so don't spend too long exploring the local scenery, and hurry when a portal opens: it closes quickly. In some levels, the screen automatically scrolls to the right or up. A dynamic game with a good difficulty level.

Another space arcade game with left to right and top to bottom movement. The main character is a cosmonaut in a space suit. Blue creatures that die leave prizes. Part of the levels are in side view, the other part in top view, scrolling from top to bottom. Great scary half-screen bosses, gorgeous interesting levels and infinite credits just add to the passing of this wonderful game.

A game based on the Mad Max movie. If you have seen the film, you will quickly understand what is happening. There are futuristic car races, crazy future adventures, explosions and much more. Average graphics and sound. The game might be interesting for fans of the film, and others can get acquainted with it.

An action game set in a pseudo-medieval world of dragons and magic. A brave knight travels to the castle of the sorcerer Darklarza to punish the villain for his crimes and return the kidnapped princess. To begin with, the warrior is only armed with a sword, but as he progresses he will acquire new weapons and become more powerful to defeat his enemies. As in any arcade game, the emphasis is on combat rather than exploration. The difficulty is very high, and there are no levels (although you can start from the castle when you reach it after dying). The game is not long, but because of its complexity it is likely to be played for a long time.

A classic of the genre. Has gone through many incarnations, but the original is still unrivalled. The dragon runs through small locations, releasing bubbles. Our goal is to destroy all the evil. If you want, you can do it with four hands in cooperative mode. You'll want to, that's for sure. After all, you will rarely see such a simple and at the same time exciting gameplay. And unlike the second part, you can play with two people.

An exciting arcade game. We play as a caveman with a club. He moves around the levels, collecting prizes and fighting enemies. There is nothing revolutionary about the game, but there are no major drawbacks either. Everything is in its place. The graphics and sound are quite good.

A game based on the animated series from Hanna-Barbera Studios, creators of The Flintstones. It tells of the hard life of George Jetson in the distant future. Reminiscent of Chip and Dale, it also involves throwing crates and other objects at enemies. Unlike Chid, the game is less dynamic - the character is bigger and less agile. So more precision is required. Levels often require you to press levers to switch mechanisms and change gravity. As you progress, you acquire useful equipment: a glider that attacks from any distance, a shield that makes you temporarily invulnerable, magnetic boots that allow you to walk on the ceiling, and others. However, the use of these items is limited: you must collect batteries to replenish their energy.

Quite a good action game. The main goal of the game is to rescue all the prisoners. In addition to flying on the surface, you have to descend into underground bases after blowing up enemy buildings that hide the way down. Throughout the game the helicopter can be upgraded by landing in certain places. Quite difficult - you can fail to reach the next save bonus by 'kissing' the ground or a wall. Similar to Airwolf, but more dynamic. Mostly released on pirate cartridges under the name Urban Strike. The Japanese version is easier.

Based on the famous thrash film from Troma Studios, an animated series was released and the game is based on it. The protagonist is a poisonous mutant whose favourite girl and friends have been kidnapped. He sets out to rescue them from a gang of criminals led by an alien called Dr Killemoff. In addition to running levels, the hero will have to skateboard on a speedway, take part in underwater battles and jump on platforms and springs. The enhanced attack is used by pressing the Select button. If you don't lose your broom, you can gradually pump it up and turn it into a throwing weapon. The game has groovy music and nice graphics, but it is quite difficult. At the same time, it's not all bad - there are passwords.

Probably the most exciting space-scrolling shooter ever released. A huge variety of weapons, prizes and high speed make the game incredibly interesting. The graphics and sound are also excellent.

The game is shoot'em up. A spaceship flies over orbital stations, shooting everything in its path. At the end of each level you have to shoot a target shaped like a letter of the Greek alphabet (alpha, beta, gamma, etc.) Not a bad early example of the genre.

The second instalment in the Ghostbusters series was published by the same company that made the first game. In general, many of the shortcomings of the first game have seeped into this one. But there are enough positive moments. The action has become much more, now you explore the levels and play for each hunter separately. Driving the car has become a side-view race and is more exciting. You can even drive the Statue of Liberty, just like in the film. But the relentless monotony of the gameplay, sadly familiar from the first game, reigns here too. The controls also complicate our lives: ghost traps have to be set in the most inconvenient way - with the 'start' button. And the last level has to be completed four times in a row. It is up to you to decide whether such a game is worth your while.

A creation similar in graphics and gameplay to Ninja Gaiden. We play as a skilled man who must defeat a powerful supercomputer in virtual reality. (In the Japanese version, the plot is different - it takes place in the future and in the present reality). The hero's main weapon is his long hair, which he uses to beat the enemy. Additional weapons are available for defeating bosses, which should be used wisely against a powerful enemy.

A completely different game. The only thing that makes it similar to the previous games is the presence of Kong. This time we play not for Mario Jumpman, but for a new character - the parasite fighter Stanley. He protects his greenhouse from pesky insects and from Kong. During the course of the game, you will have to shoot the ape from a spray gun to make him fly higher, not forgetting to dodge the annoying flies.

An interesting arcade puzzle game. The object of the game is to guide two penguins through a maze. You have to avoid all kinds of obstacles along the way. The highlight of the game is that you have to manage two heroes at the same time. You have to take care of both penguins at the same time. An unusual and impressive solution.

Genesis. Take control of Robocop. The metal hero walks around the levels shooting enemies. Everything is as usual, you can shoot up and down, jump, duck, climb over the pipe. Give it a go, you won't regret it.
