With your help, the grown-up Peter has to pass through different levels, avoiding traps and enemies (Hook's helpers). The game has beautiful graphics, one of the best in 8-bit. To interact with the fairy, find the lamp (looks like a thimble). To bounce on the magic dust, find the ball. You have to get very close to an enemy to hit them successfully, but this weakness is hardly noticeable as you can jump over every enemy in the level. Underwater you can replenish your air supply from the tanks on the cave ceilings.

The third in the adventures of a young samurai, released only in Japan. The graphics and music have improved since the first two parts, and the gameplay is more varied. Once again, the hero must rescue his girlfriend from captivity. This time he uses a baton. The arsenal of techniques is astonishing: not only can you hit enemies with the staff, but you can also slide along the wall while resting on it, push away from the wall and jump on enemies from above. There is also a roll (down+jump). Once you have collected 20 grains on the level, you will reach the prize stage. You have to burst three balls in this order: red-grey-white (1 life), white-red-grey (+50% defence) or grey-white-red (+50% attack). The game is not easy, and there are only a few continuations.

Probably one of the highest quality RPG quests on the NES. Great graphics and soundtrack. Not bad story, supported by various NPCs. The quest part of the game still outweighs the RPG component. Instead of pumping your character, you are given various tasks: go somewhere, bring something back. Some people may be disappointed by this. Although the game is quite interesting and very difficult. You will die many times: from worms, from pits, from orcs... So if you don't like complexity, if you don't want to think about every step you take, don't bother with this game. The rest of you are welcome.

Beatemup on a plane. You move forward, scattering enemies to the side, and at the end of the level there is a boss. The levels are very varied. We fight with supostatami on the roof of the train, in the harbour, on the flying plane and inside it, on the platform in the mine and in other places. Each enemy and boss requires a different tactic. Make sure you do not get grabbed by the supostats, otherwise you will lose a lot of health. The hero can hit enemies with his hands and feet, and you have to jump by pressing 'up'. A simple and straightforward but fascinating game.

Beat'em up by Technos, which started the Kunio / Nekketsu High series. The original takes place in a Japanese city, while the Western version, called Renegade, is set in the dirty streets of Brooklyn. You have to rescue your girlfriend from the dirty clutches of kidnappers. The game consists of five levels that take you through subways, docks, and inhospitable streets. There's a wide range of techniques including head, arm and leg kicks, throws overhand, and sprawl kicks. It's all in a fairly casual style, with elements of humor. Unofficial sequels Target: Renegade and Renegade III: The Final Chapter were subsequently released.

The game is based on the Lethal Weapon film. You have to fight crime. You can play as policeman Martin Riggs or his partner Roger Muerto. To change the hero, go to the left side of the screen. You can punch, jump and shoot enemies in close combat. Throughout the game you will have to rescue hostages and defuse bombs (to do this, hit the bomb when the bulb on it is lit). When you switch characters, the second hero's health is restored to 8 points. The game has decent graphics and good music.

A game in the adventure genre. Somewhat reminiscent of Addams Family. At first you travel on one planet, then you get the ability to teleport to other planets. When you get the item you need on one of the planets, you return to the one you have already explored, opening up new places. The character's energy can be "pumped". An incredibly fascinating game with many twists and opportunities.

If you are a fan of eight-bit racing, this is the game for you. You control a boat and have to complete certain tasks: shoot your opponents, steal their cargo, take part in obstacle races and much more. Remember, your boat is not immortal.

The game is an active adventure with two modes: side view and top view. The main character is a warrior with a spiked shield on a chain. The enemies in the game are various never-before-seen creatures. They can be hit or jumped over. The knight has an inventory in which items found are displayed. Progression is non-linear, as in Metroid: you have to explore locations, many of which are only available after finding useful prizes. There is the possibility to pump up the hero (like in RPG).

Ported from the Game Boy, the official Lion King. Coming from a handheld console, Simba does not look very impressive: the lion's sprites and those of his enemies are too small. And the game itself is slow. We won't be able to play as a grown-up lion, not even in our wildest dreams. The scene in which you run from a herd of antelope gnus is unimpressive: the view from above is primitive, the antelopes themselves are small, the speed is turtle-like, and the relaxing music from the first stage is playing. .... In general, the pirated version of The Lion King made by Chinese enthusiasts beats the official version of the game in every way.

A very unusual game, similar in principle to Mario or Kirby. At the beginning, you see a map on which you have to move the character of our hero. Then we travel through short locations, fighting enemies and collecting prizes. The armadillo character rolls into a ball when you press the attack button, and hits enemies in the form of a ball (it's more like Sonic). He can also push himself off walls, jump up in a curled up position, turn into a kangaroo... and that's not all he can do. The abundance of possibilities and all sorts of gimmicks in the levels will certainly keep you interested in the game. The sluggishness of the protagonist is a little distracting, but it doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the game. On the cartridges known as Super Mario 4, hackers turned the armadillo into a moustachioed plumber.

Shooting races. Top view. Driving a car, trying not to hit anyone, shooting the rear wheels of slow cars and destroying hapless motorcyclists. From time to time there are bulletproof black cars (probably mafia) that try to run you off the track.

The granddaddy of console JRPGs. Almost everything about it is painfully familiar now, but it was once a breakthrough. The plot is as simple as two pennies - the hero has to deal with the Dragon Lord and his army of infernal monsters. The only thing that is unusual for today is the quest element - key items have to be used manually, and sometimes you have to search the ground at locations. NPCs will not only speak empty phrases, but will also give you useful hints. And right from the start, you can go almost anywhere... if it weren't for the powerful enemies. By today's standards, the game is overdone with monotonous pumping.

Bosses hit painfully, so move away immediately after the blow. If you get lost, there is a hint line at the bottom. Also known as Double Dragon IV.

I bet everyone's played this football game. It's called Goal 5. It's a top view, big pitch. It's great for a game for two!

A fun scroller that hasn't been made in a long time. We have a combat vehicle in our hands. Our goal is to get to the enemy base while staying alive. The image on the screen pleases with the number of colours and the drawing of the landscapes. There is only one flaw in the game - our car is damaged after the first shot or crash.

Not a bad basketball game with animated slam dunks and more or less decent gameplay. It was quite popular at the time. Game for 1-2 players.

A simple action game that was once common in multiplayer games. A tiny ninja climbs higher and higher up a mountain, with enemies trying to stop him. Later the enemies and levels get stronger and you have to kill them all at once.
